President-elect Trumpdidn't win Minnesota, but he performed better in almost every county in the state compared to 2020.
The big picture: Vice President Harris won the state by 3.3 points on Tuesday; President Biden won it by 7.1 points four years ago.
Zoom in: Trump's biggest gains came in Sherburne County, which runs from Monticello up to St. Cloud, but he also improved in rural parts of the state and most of the metro.
He even narrowly won Blue Earth County, where Harris' running mate Tim Walz lived for more than 20 years before he became governor. Biden won that county in 2020 by 4.4 points.
The other side: Harris did slightly better than Biden in the arrowhead, Washington County and parts of southeast Minnesota, but only marginally.
