1 fun thing to go: Visit the pizza farm

There's still time to squeeze in a trip to a seasonal pizza farm.

• Torey's family made the trek to Waseca last weekend for a beer at Half Pint and a picnic at Pleasant Grove, which is scheduled to remain open through the end of the month.

Torey's tip: It's best to arrive early this time of year, especially if it's a nice night that's likely to draw crowds. We got there around 6:15 pm, but ended up eating under the stars because our pies came out after the sun went down.

• We had a blast, but it did get a little chilly by the end!

Zoom out: Red Barn Farm in Northfield and Alpha and Omega Farm in Princeton are also open until month's end.
