Amazon is planning another one of its checkout-free grocery stores, this one in Arden Hills.
Driving the news: A Chicago-area developer redeveloping a property at 3787 Lexington Ave. got city approvals this week for a 43,000-square-foot grocery store that "would be new to the Minnesota market," according to a staff report.
- A source tells Axios that the grocery store is Amazon Fresh. Amazon declined to comment.
The big picture: We reported in January that Amazon was gearing up for a major entrance into the competitive Twin Cities grocery market with stores planned for Eagan, Coon Rapids and Burnsville.
