SFMOMA hosts rooftop music

Skip another night on the couch — SFMOMA is turning its rooftop into a live music venue tonight.

• The lineup, curated by Noisepop, includes Portland-based band Y La Bamba and Oakland DJ mare.e.fresh, with a focus on Latino music.
• If you've never been to the museum's rooftop after hours, this is a good excuse to check it out and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
• Don't miss the folklórico dance and tutorial led by maestro Pablo Daniel Jimenez Garcia after the performance or the live watercolor caricature painting from Ecuadorian artist Vanessa Shive.
