F1 cars to roar down Marina Boulevard this Saturday

Don't be surprised if you see — or hear — some Formula 1 cars racing across Marina Boulevard this weekend.

Driving the news: Red Bull, the energy drink company known for its extreme sports series, is hosting a Formula 1 demonstration on Saturday that guarantees you'll feel the adrenaline up close.

Drivers expected to make appearances include Oracle Red Bull Racing reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda, off-road racing champion Mitch Guthrie Jr., freestyle motorcyclist Aaron Colton and rallycross champion Scott Speed.
The event, free and open to the public, will showcase world-class Ford Racing vehicles, such as the Ford Raptor T1+, Mustang GT3, and the F-150 Lightning SuperTruck.
Merchandise will also be available for purchase.

Pro tip: Bring ear protection because the show will be loud.

The big picture: San Francisco has served as the backdrop for several Red Bull events, such as Sky Line, which turned Twin Peaks into a skatepark for over 30 of the nation's top skaters.

If you go: Red Bull Showrun San Francisco takes place on Marina Boulevard in front of Marina Green on Saturday from 1-4pm.
