Where to eat out this Thanksgiving in SF

The Third Floor, The Jay Hotel's take on the classic hotel lobby restaurant, is serving crab and persimmon tartlets, pumpkin custard and turkey with traditional staples for $110 per person. Reservations are available for 5:30-9pm.

Crustacean, newly reopened in the Financial District, takes the non-traditional route with its signature Dungeness crab and garlic noodles. The upscale fusion restaurant will also serve dumplings stuffed with roasted turkey and Japanese sweet potatoes. Reservations (the menu is a la carte) are available for 5-9:30pm.

Tommy's Joynt on Geary is serving a buffet that includes ham or turkey, stuffing, candied sweat potato and pumpkin pie for $34 per person from 11am-8pm. No reservations are needed at this counter-service neighborhood institution.

Caché celebrates its first Thanksgiving in San Francisco with a $75 meal that includes pumpkin soup with garlic cream, turkey ballotine or halibut and sides like mashed potatoes. The French bistro will also serve add-ons like oysters and charcuterie plates. Reservations are available for 4-9pm.

54 Mint in downtown is providing Italian-inspired family-style meals for $70 per person, featuring a vegetarian lasagna, red wine braised short ribs and grissini breaded turkey breast. Reservations are available for 12-8pm.
