The largest corgi event in Northern California is back this weekend at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
Why it matters: Because... corgis. Duh.
Driving the news: Get your dose of endorphins at the annual Corgi Con, which unites hundreds of corgis and their humans for a day of fun under the sun.
It's open to everyone, including those without dogs. You can also bring your non-corgi pup "incorgnito," organizers say.
Activities in years past have included a Corgi Ninja Warrior competition, a costume contest and "Mickey's Derby" speed races.
You'll also get to browse tons of vendors, dog-related and otherwise.
If you go: Corgi Con takes place 10am-5pm Saturday at 2005 Valley Ave. Gate 8 or 12 in Pleasanton.
Tickets are discounted through Friday; admission costs $11.20 for ages 13 and older and $5.60 for children 7-12.
