Can you help a neighbor out?
It appears that a mysterious new dog species has arrived in Golden Gate Park.
Spotted lurking under the moonlight, this so-called "dog"has some… unusual characteristics, including a masked face, tiny human-like hands, a strict night-owl schedule and a suspicious interest in your scrapped leftovers.
Locals are reporting sightings everywhere, but this little fellow seems less like a dog and more like a raccoon ready to raid a trash can.
So, what's going on? Has he gone undercover? Or is he just out here living his best trash-panda life?
We called the number on the flyer near Cole and Carl Streets to find out, but were greeted with a voicemail filled with high-pitched raccoon chatter instead.
