Outside Lands, San Francisco's biggest music festival, welcomed hundreds of thousands of attendees this past weekend to see top artists including Vampire Weekend, Ludacris, Beck, Doja Cat and more.
The vibe: Colorfully-dressed festival-goers, celebrity cameos, gourmet food pop-ups, LGBTQ+ dance parties, giant fur puppets, impressive light and art installations and fog-filled skies graced this year's festivities, marking another successful event since the festival launched in 2008.
My thought bubble: Like most festivals, the experience can be overstimulating at times — though I loved so many of the performances and seeing this piece of Golden Gate Park transform into another world for three days.
