Tunde Modupee's social media feed is filled with scenes from the Bay Area, whether she's eating at Gregory's Gourmet Desserts in Oakland or trying a cryo spa — "a love letter to the Bay," she tells Axios.

- She says she started doing content creation as a hobby without a specific outcome in mind. The lifestyle and food influencer now has nearly 25,000 followers on TikTok and almost 18,000 on Instagram.
The following answers have been lightly edited.
When did you realize your content was starting to blow up?
When friends who didn't live in the Bay would tell me their friends were sending them my videos — and they'd be like, "Oh wait, I know her!" It always feels like a fun jump-scare because I truly never know who sees my content ... but I love it.
What's one part of content creation that you love but people might not realize takes a lot of time/effort?
Probably editing. I love telling a story through my lens and POV, and I do this with visuals and my editing style that's unique to me ... I like to splice, reverse, slow-mo and tweak everything to a T.
What's your favorite piece of content you've created?
My walking video from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the ferry in Sausalito ... I feel like I captured it beautifully — from the water views under the bridge, to the bridge itself, to the hillside houses overlooking the Bay in Sausalito.
How has living in the Bay impacted you/your work?
It's impacted me tremendously: I came from a town that didn't have much in the way of diversity, culture or career opportunities, and that contrast really shows in my content ... I'm always finding something new and love sharing that — it resonates with people who've moved away or are just moving here and looking for recommendations.
What's your ultimate go-to Bay Area meal?
This is probably the hardest question ... But I'd have to go with the G-Fire wings and lumpia with steamed rice and extra sauce from Lucky Three Seven. Every time I have it, I find myself craving it again.
