Some Muni lines will feature limited-edition Grateful Dead-themed designs as part of this summer's citywide celebrations, including tie-dye and paisley nods to the band's signature aesthetic.
State of play: Concert goers will ride for free since their tickets double as all-day Muni passes, thanks to a partnership with Another Planet Entertainment.
The city will offer expanded service on the N Judah, 5 Fulton and 5R routes to help fans get to and from Golden Gate Park.
What we're watching: The 60th anniversary concert series is expected to increase transit ridership, which has now reached its highest levels since 2019, per the mayor's office.
The intrigue: Muni is also selling a limited-edition psychedelic 60th anniversary shirt.
