America's favorite day to blow things up is almost here.
State of play: San Francisco's annual Fourth of July fireworks showcase kicks off at 9:30pm at the waterfront near Pier 39 and Aquatic Park.
Between the lines: The show will run for approximately 20 minutes. Best viewing areas include Fisherman's Wharf, Aquatic Park, Pier 39 and the Pier 43 walkway.
Another great spot further inland is Twin Peaks. Its panoramic views of the city on a clear night make it a go-to destination for those wanting to see the show while avoiding the crowds.
Pro tips: Consider arriving early, taking public transit and wearing layers to get the most out of the experience.
🤞 Crossing our fingers that Karl doesn't obstruct our view too much this year.
