Thousands of attendees crowded the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art for Wednesday night's Art Bash.
State of play:The event is the museum's biggest annual fundraiser, helping raise more than $2 million.
The proceeds go toward funding free community events like First Thursdays and education and family programs, which help support access to the arts for about 150,000 people every year.
The latest: One of the most impressive displays was from New York-based artist Firelei Báez, who transformed the museum's seventh floor into an enchanted woodland filled with illuminated lanterns, immersive art installations, sculptures and colorful projections.
The evening also featured electronic sets from various DJs, an eclectic fashion-forward number of attendees and a multisensory photo booth from Valentino.
