San Francisco's Night of Ideas ā a cultural celebration of critical thought ā returns Saturday for a rendition focused on the theme "(Un)Common Ground."
Why it matters:The annual event, led by the San Francisco Public Library, Asian Art Museum and other groups, features 30 panels and performances centered on how to bridge ideological divides amid increasing polarization.
Zoom in: Audience members will be invited to engage in conversation with guests like AI trailblazer Luc Julia, legal scholar Brian Soucek, Moroccan American novelist Laila Lalami and more.
Topics include algorithmic technologies, book bans and surveillance.
