Catch up quick: The scenic stretch of The Great Highway between Lincoln Way and Sloat Boulevard will turn into a 43-acre park on April 12.
SF Recreation and Parks has launched a contest to choose a name for the new park that "reflects the spirit, history, and significance of this coastal landmark."
