Concert prices are down this summer from last year's heights, according to new data from SeatGeek.

Why it matters: Pop's biggest names aren't on the circuit this time around. Experts say that last year's prices were likely due to historic demand to see Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.

This summer's big draw is Olivia Rodrigo, who kicks off the next U.S. leg of her Guts world tour in July.

  • The three-time Grammy winner will perform in San Francisco in August.

By the numbers: SeatGeek reports that the average resale ticket price to attend a summer concert is $224, down from $269 around this time last year.

  • That comes alongside an 11% increase in the number of U.S. concerts this summer when compared to last year.

The top 10 artists performing this summer (and if/when they're coming to the Bay Area), via SeatGeek:

  1. Olivia Rodrigo (Aug. 2-3 at Chase Center)
  2. Morgan Wallen
  3. Zach Bryan
  4. Rolling Stones (July 17 at Levi's Stadium)
  5. Noah Kahan (July 5-6 at The Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley)
  6. George Strait
  7. Luke Combs
  8. Hozier (Sept. 10 at Shoreline Amphitheatre)
  9. Chris Stapleton
  10. Justin Timberlake

State of play: The list is determined by overall sales on the ticket vendor's platform, as opposed to the average resale ticket price.

  • The average resale price for Rodrigo's tour is $571, and the next-highest is $409 to see Wallen.

The big picture: Other notable artists touring this summer include Blink-182, Foo Fighters and Billy Joel.
