The San Francisco 49ers will travel the fifth most miles of any NFL team this season.
State of play: Of the NFL teams not leaving the U.S. to play in one of the five internationally scheduled games this season, the 49ers will travel the fourth most miles, according to Bookies.
That includes 26 time zone changes, which could contribute to players feeling the effects of jet lag.
What to watch: The 49ers also got the short end of the stick when it comes to its "rest differential" — the amount of rest players get in between games compared to its opponents, according to ESPN reporter Brian Burke.
The Niners will have the third-worst rest differential since 2002, but the team did just fine with its limited rest last season, when they made the Super Bowl.
