Claire, your social host, here with a restaurant reco! After hearing about 7 Adams, SF's latest addition to the Michelin Guide, I had to try its $87 tasting menu, and friends, I was seriously impressed.
Dig in: There are a few set pieces to start like cured hiramasa and beet tartare (that's beet, and it's delicious), then you get more choices as the meal progresses — with extras like smoked ricotta agnolotti with truffles or wagyu ribeye (for an extra cost).
The wagyu was a small serving but it was so good I had to close my eyes while I chewed.
The service is friendly, the tunes are great and there's a good wine list.
What's next: I'll definitely be going back to try its next menu! (And shoutout to the couple next to us who are also Axios readers — it was great to chat!)
