San Francisco weekend events: Night market, tulips display

You made it through election week, and that means it's time to reward yourself.

  • Here are a few events happening around the city this weekend.

🏮 Experience the best of Chinatown as its night market returns for 2024. Vendors include AA Bakery and Dragon Papa Dessert, among others.

  • Friday 5:30-9pm along Grant Avenue from Sacramento Street to Jackson Street. Free.

⚾ Swing by the 29th Giants FanFest, which will feature former players, self-guided tours, a kids zone and more. The team's spring training game in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be broadcast on the scoreboard throughout.

  • Saturday 10am-3pm at Oracle Park. Free admission, but RSVP is required.

🌷 Celebrate Flower Bulb Day by perusing a vibrant display of more than 80,000 tulips. You'll be able to pick your own bunch, up to 15 tulips per person.

  • Saturday 1-4:30pm at Union Square. Free.

⛵ Check out the annual Ragtop/Stinkpot Relay Regatta, a relay competition showcasing the force of mini boat models.

  • Saturday on the north side of Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park. Regatta begins at 1pm. Free.
