Where "Good Trouble Live On" protests are happening in San Diego

Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend "Good Trouble Lives On" protests across the country Thursday, including 10 scheduled events in San Diego County.
Why it matters: The event was planned to coincide with the five year anniversary of the death of John Lewis, the civil rights leader and former congressman who was among President Trump's fiercest critics.
- Lewis coined the phrase "good trouble" as a description of his practice of nonviolent resistance to create social change.
State of play: Anti-Trump protests since January have retained their momentum, including Tesla Takedown in March, Hands Off! and 50501 in April, May Day, No Kings in June, and Free America on Independence Day.
Zoom in: A downtown protest is planned for Thursday evening at Waterfront Park.
- Others are scheduled in El Cajon, La Jolla, Mira Mesa, Torrey Pines, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Vista, San Marcos and Escondido.
