Thousands of protesters peacefully rallied President Trump in downtown San Diego Saturday, as part of the nationwide "No Kings" rally and the largest display of opposition of Trump's second term.
By the numbers: San Diego Police said at least 60,000 people attended, and organizers estimate the crowd was more than 80,000 people.
There were no arrests.
3,000 protesters gathered in Escondido, and there were events in Carlsbad, Oceanside and Chula Vista as well.
The big picture: Organizers say more than 5 million protesters joined the more than 2,100 demonstrations nationwide.
State of play: The protest coincided with a military parade in Washington, D.C., that Trump threw for the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, and his 79th birthday.
