Fiori's Pizzaria carried its legacy to victory, earning Axios Pittsburgh readers' vote as the region's top pizza spot.
The big picture: The finals came down to two pizzerias that embody the city's evolving pizza scene — from beloved neighborhood institutions to artisan shops pushing the craft to new heights.
Zoom in: The championship matchup featured Lawrenceville's Driftwood Oven, the acclaimed sourdough pizzeria and bakery at 3615 Butler St. (don't miss its summer Peach + Corn Pizza), and Brookline classic Fiori's.
- Fiori's won with 61% of the vote. Nearly 1,000 readers cast ballots throughout the week.

Dig in: Fiori's has turned out its signature hand-tossed pies in Brookline for nearly 50 years.
