III Points kicks off this weekend with largest lineup yet

Between the lines: Construction is set to begin in 2027, with plans to open the CMU Miami campus in 2028.

• A spokesperson told the Miami Herald that Mana Wynwood will operate the venue through the end of 2027, though it's unclear if construction could begin before.

State of song: This year's festival is the largest yet, with nearly 300 artists across 13 stages. (Last year's festival featured about 150 artists and 12 stages.)

• Artists span across more than a dozen genres, including dance, house, R&B and Latin, and (bonus!) many of the artists are based in Miami.

The intrigue: The festival's satellite programming also expanded this year, with seven days of events at 20 venues across the city.

• Events began on Tuesday, but venues like ZeyZey, Lions Den, Jolene, Floyd and Las Rosas have lineups throughout the weekend.
• Club Space is hosting the festival's afterparty with events Sunday through Tuesday.

Other considerations: Road closures will begin 9am Friday and run through Sunday 8pm, per Miami-Dade Police. (Closure details here.)

• There's no official parking for the event, though there are limited lots and street parking in the surrounding areas.
• The festival partnered with Lyft and festival goers are encouraged to use rideshares or public transportation. (Designated pickup and drop-off areas can be found here.)

What's next: Have fun, Miami!
