If you're too fancy for fast food, a new delivery-only steakhouse wants to satisfy your late-night munchies.
- Prime After Dark, a Miami ghost kitchen that runs as late as 5am, delivers high-end dishes from caviar to filet mignon
The big picture: As more billionaires move into the city, this is the latest example of a business taking advantage of Miami's concentration of wealth and affinity for excess.
Driving the news: Hospitality and nightlife veterans Dennis Arakelian and Jordan Culpepper say they wanted to fill the void left when restaurants close for the night.
- "Prime After Dark answers a gap that 24-hour fast-food chains were never designed to fill: restaurant-quality dining, executed at a high level and delivered late into the night," a spokesperson tells Axios.

State of plate: The business aims to offer "indulgent yet accessible late-night" meals, with prices ranging from $28 for a burger to as much as $500 for steak, caviar or sandwich "luxe boxes" meant to be shared.
- "Some nights call for restraint. Others call for excess," Culpepper said in a press release. "We wanted a menu that makes room for both."
How it works: The kitchen is located near Little Haiti and delivers to Miami and Miami Beach.
- Hot and cold elements of each dish are packed separately, and each delivery is placed in a moisture-controlled and temperature-managed box.
- Each order includes a dedicated VIP phone number for questions, direct ordering or special requests.
- Orders are placed through Prime After Dark's website, with expansion to delivery apps to follow, the release says.
Hours: Wednesday: 6pm-2am. Thursday: 6pm-3am. Friday and Saturday: 6pm-5am.
