Knaus Berry Farm reopens with new location, same recipes

Yes, but: The recipes remain unchanged and much of the staff from the old location, including longtime bakery manager Thomas Blocher, stayed on board, per a news release.

• "The family felt it was time for a change, not in product or brand, but in the overall vision," said Blocher, who will be involved as a kitchen consultant.

Between the lines: Visitors will notice a few upgrades, such as credit card payment options, shade for those waiting in line, guest bathrooms and a new oven to meet demand (and hopefully ease the long lines).

• The biggest change may be its hours: For the first time, the farm will be open on Sundays and closed Mondays.

If you go: The new location is at 16790 SW 177th Ave., Miami, open Tuesday through Sunday, 8am- 5:30pm.

• The farm will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
