What's going up: Multi-family units in Edgewater, Brickell, Design District

Miami-based development firm Crescent Heights is proposing a 42-story tower on 200 NE 30th St. in Edgewater.

• It will include 360-units and an adjacent six-story commercial building.
• Once done, two pedestrian bridges will connect it to Forma, the neighboring tower the company completed last year, per the outlet.

Helm Equities hopes to build a 36-story mixed-use tower and an adjacent eight-story building in Miami's Design District, a neighborhood known for high-end, luxury shopping and art.

• The project would be close to 830,000 square feet and include 278 residential units.
• The workforce units would range from 404 to 1,140 square feet, while "market-rate units" would range from 1,327 to 3,296 square feet, per the South Florida Business Journal.

The New York-based Namdar Group plans to build a 42-story tower just west of Brickell, the South Florida Business Journal reported.

• The tower will include 1,011 apartments and nearly 3,000 square feet of retail.
• Other amenities include a pool, coworking space, a yoga studio and a dog park, among others, per the outlet.
