What's going up: High rises in Wynwood, Midtown and Edgewater

Wyn Park, from ABH Developer Group, was approved this month by the city's Urban Development Review Board, FloridianDevelopment reported.

• The 36-story residential tower is expected to feature nearly 300 units in the Wynwood Norte neighborhood.
• The building's height and density are possible through the state's Live Local Act, which lets developers bypass zoning limits if they set aside 40% of the units for workforce housing.

Midtown Park, a $2 billion, four-tower mixed-use complex on 5 acres in Midtown, was given the OK by the same board last week, the Real Deal reported.

• The first phase is a 28-story tower with 288 units, per the outlet.
• The project includes a second 28-story building and two 17-story buildings, two public plazas, a racquet and padel club, and 60,000 square feet of office space, among other amenities.

East of Midtown Park in Edgewater, a 47-story tower, was approved for a 0.8-acre plot on 3350 Biscayne Blvd, according to the Real Deal.

• The project, which features 5,555 square feet of ground-floor retail space and more than 3,000 square feet of restaurant space, was also approved under the state's Live Local Act.
