The obscene Florida license plates rejected in 2025

Florida drivers are always looking for creative ways to cuss you out in traffic.

Every year, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles rejects hundreds of vanity plates for including "obscene or objectionable words."

Why it matters: Drivers here love to express themselves — whether it be flipping you off in traffic or doing donuts at the intersection.

Others will pay a $15 fee to get a custom license plate showing off their personality.

Zoom in: While we can't publish most of the submissions rejected so far in 2025, many tried to slip an f-bomb past the censors.

One applicant just listed a crime.

After seeing more pro-Trump license plate submissions in years past, the state received two anti-Republican submissions this year.

Someone took a shot at their homeowners association, too.
