Driving the news: Fans of the Latin music star are invited to Tropical Park Friday at 2pm for a Rauw Alejandro look-alike contest.

• The winner gets $500, according to organizer Emely Hernandez, a local influencer.

The big picture: Celebrity look-alike contests are cropping up all over the nation — and it's finally Miami's turn.

• Fans from New York City to Chicago have held gatherings over the past month searching for local doppelgängers of Timothée Chalamet, Jeremy Allen White and Miles Teller.

Yes, but: Alejandro isn't even from Miami.

• We asked Hernandez if she considered hosting a Pitbull or Rick Ross look-alike contest, but haven't heard back yet.

Zoom in: Hernandez announced the contest on Tik Tok and posted fliers around Miami.

• "Single girlies find your future boyfriend at this event and let's all have a good time," the flier reads.
• Hernandez said in one video that contestants "will have to dance a little bit" considering the $500 cash prize – much larger than other contests have awarded.
• She says she'll livestream the event, too, for those of us who will be working.

Rauw's response: The singer has given his blessing to the contest, posting supportive comments on social media.
