Miami isn't in the path of totality for Monday's eclipse, but you can still catch a glimpse of the big show.

Why it matters: The next eclipse in North America won't be for another two decades. So even though only part of the sun will be obscured here, it's worth your time.

  • ☀️ And the forecast looks good for a watch party: Sunny and breezy with a high of 78°.

Zoom in: The eclipse will cover 45% of the sun around Miami.

  • It begins at 1:47pm and reaches peak coverage at 3:01pm.
  • Show's over at 4:13pm.
