Union Station to host Premier League Mornings

Grab your football kit: The Premier League is coming to town.

The big picture: Denver Union Station hosts the 13th Premier League Mornings Live fan festival on Oct. 10-11, bringing a match-day experience to aficionados of the world's most popular sports league.

Why it matters: It's a chance for downtown to recapture the frenzy prompted by the FIFA World Cup watch parties this summer, which drew thousands and boosted local businesses.

Zoom in: October's events include live game broadcasts alongside the NBC Sports studio team of Rebecca Lowe, and analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard, the former USMNT and Colorado Rapids star.

Fans will get a chance to check out the Premier League Trophy, snag exclusive merch, see club mascots, and spot league legends in person.

Between the lines: The event is a collaboration between the Downtown Denver Partnership and the Premier League, NBC Sports, USA Sports, and the Denver Sports Commission, per a statement.
