Denver Pride takes over downtown this weekend

Denver Pride caps off a month of celebrations this weekend with a 5K, parade and festival honoring the region's LGBTQ+ communities.

State of play: Denver PrideFest moves from Civic Center Park to 16th Street this year, where the festival will run from Broadway to Arapahoe.

• The Pride 5K starts at 9am Saturday at Cheesman Park, with registration still available. Cost: ~$50
• The Pride Parade takes over 17th Avenue from Franklin to Lincoln streets on Sunday from 9:30am–12:30pm. Free
• Denver PrideFest will fill 16th Street on Sunday from 10am–6pm, with a Latin Stage, The Gayborhood and youth and family areas. Free
