Civic Center EATS is back for the season

Food trucks are rolling back into Civic Center Park.

State of play: Civic Center EATS returns Wednesday, relocating to Bannock Street in front of city hall due to ongoing park renovations.

Dig in: The spring and summer lunch staple will feature 54 food trucks this season, plus 17 rotating drop-in vendors and live performances from Youth on Record, organizers said.

From sandwiches to pizza, Asian bites, European fare and Latin favorites, you can find just about every cuisine imaginable — including for specialty diets.

Between the lines: More than 80% of participating vendors are small businesses owned by women, Black, Indigenous and other people of color.

If you go: Civic Center EATS runs every Wednesday and Thursday from 11am to 2pm through Oct. 15, with some exceptions.
