🥘 Paperboy. The export from Austin, Texas, is opening its first location outside the Lone Star State in Denver's West Highland neighborhood on March 24.

• The brunch restaurant will feature its famous Texas Hash, cheddar hashbrowns, cornmeal pancakes and a chicken and biscuit with spicy honey.

🐔 Chicken Riot: Chef Manny Barella and pitmaster Patrick Klaiber put Riot BBQ on Denver's culinary map and now they hope to do the same with a chicken-focused menu.

• Barella calls it a "love letter to chicken" with smoke from Texas, soul from Northern Mexico.
• The 20-seat counter-service spot is tucked into a former cheese shop on East 6th Avenue in Denver and is expected to open on March 26.

🤩 Heretik. Theo Adley, the James Beard-nominated chef behind Marigold in Lyons, expects to open his new restaurant this month in Denver's River North neighborhood.

• The new spot will blend culinary influences from northeastern Spain and southern France, with a menu built around a raw bar, seafood small plates and heritage poultry.
• The signature dish is a French "cou-nou" rotisserie chicken — a heritage breed Adley has called his "death-row meal."

😋 The Lowdown. This new restaurant at 2731 Iris Ave. in Boulder aims to become your favorite low-key bar and grill, where you can bring the family and everyone will find something to eat.

• The spot is where the former Murphy's restaurant was located and where co-owner Erin Perkins first worked after relocating from central New York in 2002.

🍣 Odd Rabbit. The team behind Denver's Michelin-recognized Glo Noodle House is set to open a 90-seat restaurant in Boulder with a chef's counter and patio focused on creative sushi and noodle dishes.
