๐ญ Head to the theater. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is bringing major Broadway shows and other theatrical productions to the city this spring.
- Get ready for "The Phantom of the Opera," "MJ: The Musical" and "The Improvised Shakespeare Company.
- And grab tickets to these shows later in the year: "The Sound of Music," "Beetlejuice" and "Spamalot."
๐ฌ Film fest. The Asian and Asian American Film Festival returns March 20-22 at the Sie FilmCenter in Denver.
- The event's theme is "Threads of Connection." It includes feature films and documentaries, as well as a mini-food fest with AANHPI cuisine.
๐ฆ Dinosaurs. The Denver Museum of Nature & Science opens the new "World's Largest Dinosaurs" exhibit March 20. It looks at the largest land animal to ever live, the sauropod.
- Don't miss other dinosaur-related exhibits and the film "T. Rex 3D" at the museum's Infinity Theater.
๐ฅ Egg hunt. Four Mile Historic Park in Denver is once again hosting a Family Egg Hunt in two sessions, 8:30am-noon and 1:30-5pm on April 4.
- The event includes an adult-only egg hunt, a magic show, live music, a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, and egg-related contests.
๐ฎ Denver's Cinco de Mayo Festival is May 2-3 in Civic Center Park. Expect traditional music, food and arts vendors as well as Chihuahua races, a taco eating contest and a lowrider car show.
- The event runs 10am to 8pm both days.
