A new winter farmers market is open in Denver

Zoom in: A Tavola Winter Market, now in its second week, brings together dozens of local growers and makers selling everything from fresh-baked bread and pastries to gourmet mushrooms, kimchi and jam — plus non-edible goods like flowers, handwoven baskets and Turkish towels.

• Shoppers also can grab drinks from the bar and listen to live music while they browse.

The intrigue: On select Tuesdays, the market will host a 20-seat pop-up dinner and wine pairing, featuring seasonal ingredients served family-style.

• Reservations are required ($95 per person).
