If you're hunting for locally made gifts this holiday season, Denver's many artisan markets have you covered.
Why it matters: Shopping at a craft market makes it easy to support area artists and small businesses — and leaves you with a purchase that feels personal.
Here are a few standouts to check out.
Holiday BAZAAR at Highland Square (11am-5pm Saturday)
- Browse jewelry, clothing, art, treats and home goods from more than 100 Colorado makers. Shoppers can also find food trucks and cocktails — plus a hot cocoa bar to build your own slurpable treat. Free with RSVP.
Holiday Makers Market (10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday)
- Hosted at MCA Denver's Holiday Theater in Highland, this two-day event features about two-dozen local artists, makers and vendors. Seasonal cocktails are also available in the theater lobby. Free with RSVP.
Winter Art Market (10am-5pm Saturday)
- Head downtown for over 30 local vendors at RedLine Contemporary Art Center, where you'll find original art, prints, pottery, jewelry, home goods, treats and more. Free with RSVP.
Denver Winter Market (3-8pm Friday, 11am-6pm Saturday, 11am-5pm Sunday)
- Don't miss the last weekend of the city's newest holiday market at Sports Castle on Broadway. The market features more than 100 local artists and makers of one-of-a-kind gifts — plus plenty of festive cocktails. Free on Friday, $5 on Saturday/Sunday.
Plus: Numerous markets are open this weekend and beyond including Christkindlmarket at the Auraria Campus, Cherry Creek Holiday Market, Mistletoe Market in the Dairy Block and the RiNo Holiday Market.
