Artwork is being hidden across Denver today, ready for the taking.
The latest: The city is celebrating Art Drop Day, an annual chance for residents and visitors to score free art from local creators.
The worldwide celebration was founded in Provo, Utah, by artist Jake Parker, per a statement from Denver Arts and Venues, which is helping organize the event.
How it works: Creators will "drop" works around the city while sharing clues on social media with the tags #ArtDropDenver2025 and #ArtDropDay.
Past works have included sculptures, metal works, jewelry, photography, books, paintings and even concert tickets.
By the numbers: Over 2,000 art pieces have been hidden around the city since 2017.
