The can't-miss events at the Colorado State Fair's final weekend

The vibe: You get your pick of four distinct performers — just note, tickets to the show must be purchased separately from fair admission.

• Former chart-topping rapper Flo Rida will play with special guest Chamillionaire on Friday at 7pm. Starting at $43
• Country crooner Russell Dickerson will be joined by Drew Green on Saturday at 7pm. Starting at $43
• Mexican norteño band Los Huracanes del Norte will take the stage at Big R Arena on Sunday at 7pm. Starting at $53
• Pop-rock pioneers Cheap Trick perform at the Southwest Motors Events Center on Sunday at 7pm. Starting at $52

Other events for the fair's final weekend:

• Watch monster trucks flatten cars on Friday night or Saturday afternoon at the Big R Arena. Starting at $27.90

• The Great American Petting Farm gives kids a chance to interact with pigs, goats, sheep and other critters.

What to expect: The fair runs through Labor Day, opening at 11am Friday through Monday.
