Downtown Denver has a new venue for the beautiful game.
The latest: The city's parks department will officially open an outdoor turf field tomorrow at Skyline Park downtown.
What to expect: The field is intended for soccer clinics, pick-up games, youth and adult tournaments, per a city project document.
Between the lines: The city partnered with Street Soccer USA to create the synthetic grass field, and will include programming from the nonprofit, which focuses on giving low-income youth opportunities to play.
Stop by: The pitch is located at Skyline Park Block 1 on Arapahoe Street between 15th and 16th streets in Denver.
