The Denver Library's "One Book, One Denver" initiative picked "Stay True" by Hua Hsu for this year's citywide read-along.
Why it matters: "By reading the same book, we can connect, start conversations, and build community across Denver," the program states.
Dig in: The coming-of-age memoir follows the author's college years and an unlikely friendship to explore identity, connection and loss.
What's next: Join a community book discussion and register for a conversation with the author Sept. 5 at Denver Central Library.
