The can't-miss Denver Nuggets games next season

The Denver Nuggets return this fall with a revamped lineup sure to draw raucous crowds to Ball Arena.

State of play: The NBA on Thursday released the 2025-26 schedule, with Denver and its talismanic center, Nikola Jokić, set to start the season against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the Bay Area on Oct. 23.

Denver's home opener is Oct. 25 against the Phoenix Suns.

What we're watching: Five other matchups stand out.

At Houston Rockets (Nov. 21). Denver will face a loaded Houston team with Kevin Durant fresh off his latest roster jump.
Minnesota Timberwolves (Dec. 25). Few NBA superstars strike fear in Nuggets fans' hearts like guard Anthony Edwards — and Denver will look to stop him in this Christmas Day showdown.
At Cleveland Cavaliers (Jan. 2). The Nuggets face what could be the East's top dog in an early-season measuring stick.
Los Angeles Lakers (Jan. 20). Denver's old nemesis visits Ball Arena, with high hopes for a quiet night from Luka Dončić.
Oklahoma City Thunder (Feb. 1). It's the Nuggets first shot at redemption from last year's playoff series loss — and an MVP showcase between Jokić and last season's winner, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
