Denver Broncos fans will soon get a chance to see a squad poised for a breakout year.
The big picture: Denver opens their three-game preseason slate tomorrow against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
State of play: A playoff berth during quarterback Bo Nix's first year means expectations will be higher.
Reality check: These exhibition games generally aren't a great indicator of future success β though in hindsight, the Broncos' 3-0 preseason tally last year did foreshadow their winning regular season.
The intrigue: Some players in key positions could benefit from the additional game time.
At least two wide receivers β Pat Bryant and Troy Franklin β have a shot to impress the coaching staff, per Sports Illustrated.
Same goes for running back RJ Harvey, likely competing for a backup spot.
Linebacker Levelle Bailey could see his stock rise as starter Alex Singleton comes off a recent injury.
What's next: The game will air on KUSA (channel 9) at 6:30pm tomorrow.
