Welcome to theherd, Rhingo.
Zoom in: The Denargo Rhino naming campaign yesterday revealed that's the name for the new 30-foot-tall rhinoceros sculpture at the 17-acre development just north of downtown.
The big picture: Rhingo joins a proud and colorful lineage of massive animal sculptures in Denver, including Blucifer and the Big Blue Bear.
By the numbers: Nearly 1,500 submissions and votes were cast to name the 22,000-pound, climbable sculpture, per a statement from the naming campaign.
Stop by: The kid-friendly structure is on the corner of 29th Street and Arkins Court.
