By the numbers: The Denver Contract Detention Facility in Aurora has an average daily occupancy of 1,150 detainees — a figure that's up slightly from this spring, though still not hitting its 1,500-plus bed capacity.
People from Mexico, Venezuela, Honduras, Colombia and Guatemala make up the top nationalities of those detained in Aurora, per data compiled last month by the office of U.S. Rep. Jason Crow (D-Aurora).
