Civic Center EATS returns to downtown Denver

The big picture: More than 40 food trucks will rotate through the park on select Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 2pm through Oct. 16.

• Expect a mix of cult favorites (Mukja, Uptown & Humboldt and Ninja Ramen) and new-to-you vendors.
• The lineup changes by day and season.

Zoom in: Proceeds support the Civic Center Conservancy, the nonprofit that stewards the park and hosts the event.

What they're saying: "We are creating a true community event that supports small businesses, creates workforce opportunities for youth, and brings energy to the heart of Denver," Eric Lazzari, the conservancy's executive director, said in a statement.

If you go: This year's event is split into three seasons:

• Spring: May 14-June 26
• Summer: July 9-Aug. 28
• Fall: Sept. 10-Oct. 16
