Denver's TikTok content creators are bracing for a looming ban on the app.
The latest: The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments Friday over TikTok's future.
- A new, overwhelmingly bipartisan law requires the app's Chinese parent company, ByteDance, to either sell by Jan. 19 or shut it down within the U.S., Axios' Sam Baker writes.
- President-elect Trump previously advocated for a ban but has since flip-flopped, urging the court last month to pause the law at the eleventh hour.
Why it matters: Local content creators and small business owners have told Axios Denver they depend on TikTok to build their brands and boost their bottom lines.
