A beloved Denver tradition takes over downtown tomorrow with more than 30 longhorn cattle trotting through the streets.
Why it matters: The annual parade kicks off the National Western Stock Show, a 16-day celebration of Colorado's ranching roots and Western heritage, running from Saturday through Jan. 26.
If you go: The parade starts at noon in front of Union Station and ends at 17th Street and Glenarm Place.
Afterward, head to the Stock Show Fair at McGregor Square for music, therapy horses, a food market and ice skating.
Pro tip: Wear a cowboy hat at the Stock Show Fair to score half-off skating and a $10 shot and beer special at the Milepost Zero bar.
