The best GABF and Denver Beer Week events in 2024

• Here's our top 5:

Wednesday: Hops & Pie, the city's best beer bar, is offering 20 extra taps for the week.

• The best event is a showcase from CSA Distributing that includes Alchemist, Fidens, Hill Farmstead, Monkis, Other Half, Riip, Ruse and Sante Adarius beers.

Thursday: Denver Rare Beer Tasting takes over Bierstadt Lagerhaus this year with the best and rarest craft beers from 50 breweries across the country.

• A $200 ticket benefits a nonprofit and includes four hours of sampling, lunch and swag.

Friday: Punk Lager Fest at Cannonball Creek in Golden will feature live punk bands, food trucks and the best lagers from guest breweries, including Wayfinder, pFriem and Von Ebert. All for free.

Friday: Cerebral Brewing's Aurora Arts District location is tapping beers from breweries it collaborates with including Casey, Olfactory, Xul, Cellarmaker, Cloudburst and North Park.

Saturday: The Great Mexican Beer Fiesta, hosted by Cerveceria Colorado at its Platte Street location, is a block party that includes Lucha Libre wrestling, food trucks and collaborations with Mexican breweries.
