The Secret Garden cafe in Cheesman Park is now open

• Its launch follows a major makeover that's been in the works for years, transforming the space into a vibrant oasis brimming with greenery and floral accents.
• "We're viewing ourselves as an amenity [to the park]," Joe Vostrejs, whose firm City Street Investors is behind the concept, told BusinessDen.

Zoom in: The cafe offers ample indoor seating and a serene, sprawling patio.

• In addition to coffee and tea, the cafe serves light bites like salads, sandwiches and more.

The intrigue: By evening, the Secret Garden transforms into a cocktail lounge.

• "It's going to be dark and sexy at night," Vostrejs said.

If you go: The cafe is located at 1290 N. Williams St. and open daily from 7am-8pm.
